DVD+RW won't burn (DAO error)

DVD+RW won't burn (DAO error)
I have a weird problem. My NEC 4550a won't burn my DVD+RW discs anymore. I receive the error 'can't start disc-at-once with Nero and CopyToDVD. The media is fine!! Works flawlessly on my 3550 and it worked on the 4550a, but not anymore. I tried different media, no luck. Also DVD+R works fine! I did fiddle around with newer firmware, but switching back doesn't fix the problem. They where all compatible and flashing went with no errors. Did I screw up my drive maybe or is it just broken? I use the original NEC 1.06b firmware btw...

And here is the Nero log. How com it says SCSI sometimes? My nec is IDE and the samsung hard drive is S-ATA... Can anyone explain?

Guys I have fixed the problem. I stayed up until 5 in the morning. Let me explain the problem so that people with same problems don't have to

I have a new Core 2 Duo system and the motherboard (P5B-E) uses the JMicron JMB366 chipset. This is where the problem lies. After I did a firmware upgrade, probably this IDE driver config changed. This explains why in device manager it says 'SCSI'. I went to driver settings in WinXP and selected to change the driver. From there I had the option not to use the JMICRON driver but a windows default IDE driver. After selecting WinXP will then recognice the DVD drive and install them again. I immediately ran Nero and DVD+RW formatting worked flawlessy!!!!! I hope it uses DMA mode now instead of PIO, have not checked that.
