i bought my nec 3520 about 2 months ago and untill about 3 weeks ago thought it was great. now i wanna kill the damn thing.
i burned a dvd with it then, the next day when i went to burn something else off i noticed that the recording speed of the drive would not go over 32x for cds and it refused to read some dvd's reguardless of the brand.
i took it back to the shop and the nice chap gave me another one, all was good i thought, that was untill i installed it. now this one dont burn cd's faster then 24x and still wont read some dvd's.
i really dont know where to start to try and solve the problem please help.
