Although I've posted a cdspeed chart of a MCC 002 burnt at 8x, I've had three coasters last night with the same type of discs. I've reverted back to 2k5107v2b5, tried another burnt and this time everything went fine. The cd speed graph has some drops at the end, but I didn't get any CRC error. I have also burnt a SONY04D1 DVD-R 4x @ 8 with a awful cdspeed graph and a TYG01 DVD-R 4x @ 8 with some drops, but nothing to worry about. One question, does someone thinks that this can happen because I'm using a PIII 450 @ 558 Mhz with 384 MB of RAM to do the burns ?
Hello What is the best firmware update that I can do now with my NEC 2500A drive? Thanks

I guys, What's up?!? it's been a few days now without any activity... and I've been whishing a new firmware for christmas... where is it Quikee? Cheers, Carlos. ![]() P.S.- Am I the only one who is having a few issues when recodording with the "great" Princo's? Last edited by caccum; 17-12-2004 at 06:28.
This is a CMC MAG E01 burned on a NEC2510A using 2.F8 with quikee mods. Burning speed: 2.4x (hey, I'm willing to sacrifice burning over extra time before this dvd gets bad). The results are rather good, imho. Or aren't they?

Hi Quickee2: can you add support for POMS3A @ 8x using FUJIFILM03 POMSI002 @ 8x using FUJIFILM03 and Plasmon1A @ 8x using FUJIFILM03? I've tried there in Harry's b5 filmware and works very well! If you want I can attach a Nero CD Speed graph...or a Kprobe scan...
Quickee, there is definitely something wrong with the princo routines... whenever I try to record it at 6X or at 8X my nero gets wired and the dvd's not only get funny timings while recording, they also get really hard to read... (this didn't use to be a problem with harries firmware...). If you find the time, please check it... I'm also using platinum 8x+R and haven't got any problems with it... plus I recorded a verbatim double layer at 2.4X and seems to be fine too... (it was a first for me with double layers) By the way, Merry Chistmas to all you guys... Carlos. P.S.- (portuguese stuff) é bom ver q n sou o único portuga por cá... Boas festas para todos!
