| Trying to install software- get black screen and blinking cursor I am running windows xp and trying to install a disk with an iso. The disk was burned with PowerIso and it works in another machine running xp. In the current xp machine I am trying to install it in, I load the disk and it just goes to a black screen with a d// blinking cursor? What could be the problem? Thanks! |

| Re: Trying to install software- get black screen and blinking cursor It is Rosetta Stone. It was burned with PowerIso and it works perfectly on my other xp computer. Is it a problem with the software or a problem with the computer? |

| Re: Trying to install software- get black screen and blinking cursor The original CD got broken in half, so thank goodness I burned a copy. I'm just wondering if this is an issue with the machine or if it is an issue with the software and what can be done to correct this problem. |
