| This would not be allowed in the UK. The judge in this case would deny them the opportunity. After all what relative information can she give the court? I see this as a cynical attempt of the worst kind to emotionally blackmail the defendant.  Not getting at our USA cousins but what does this say about "the land of the free" with "the best justice system in the world? " It's time our cousins woke up and elected some politicians that aren't in the pay or the pocket of the"multi nationals."
