Check www.portforward.com for your router or a similar model you'll need a static ip for port forwarding it's all described there.

Hi Bubble Boy i followed ur instuctions and my ports (6881-6889) show up as closed they was stealthed but now closed. would u be able to mail me back on how to open these ports. thx for ur help

I started using Azureus the beginning of last year, I used the port that it gave me which was 19623 everything was working fine for about 9 months until I started getting error pop ups from the program. I used the the configuration wizard and did a test on the port, all I get is this:
Embedded Images

View/download images and remove advertisements by registering now! (it's easy, free and takes less than a minute)

You must be registered in order view images in this forum.

it will let me download, but it's not seeding like it should be, the last thing I want is to be banned from a few select sites that I use where they expect you to seed or they boot you out. Can anyone help? I'm not up to speed with all this computer jargon, so step by step advice would be great.
