I would like to install Ares or something else, to see if it works better, but I don't want to lost my current progress. I still have the .torrent file and stuff.. Is it possible to keep gong or something, or fix this problem?

As you got the .torrent file there should be a problem changing to another app, just use your new one and point to the direction where your downloaded data is it'll start at 62% percent.

Ok, I just found out why... I've lost internet connection to that computer entirely. It runs off the network... But just doesn't connect.. Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting the machine

Is it configured via DHCP or static IP address?

If DHCP, then .... open the network connection properties & hit refresh. It'll get a new DHCP IP address/etc & hopefully start again.

If it doesn't work, then
My computer->properties->Delete the network card & reboot. Then it'll redetect & set everything up again

If it's a static IP, and restart doesn't fix it, delete the network card & reboot
