Tunebite 5 released, becomes universal converter

You know the drill, when you've just bought your favorite music or movie and want to burn it, you can't! Or what about the limits that are on your favorite bought music and video? Of course the internet would not be the internet if you couldn't find a solution to that. One of the solutions for many years now is Tunebite, this software allows you to convert your music and video with DRM to an unprotected version. Already a popular tool for many CD Freaks users but now the software has improved and the developers have added a lot new functionality.

Tunebite 5, and especially the Platinum version adds support for the following:

  • Converts copy-protected music and audio book files with the WMA, M4A, M4B and M4P formats into unprotected MP3, WMA, WMA Pro, OGG, M4A and WAV audio files.

  • Audio converter for MP3, MP2, WMA, WMA Pro, OGG, M4A, M4B, AAC, AMR, AU, FLAC, AC3 and WAV audio files. Incl. Audio Stream recorder.

  • Converts copy-protected films and video clips with the WMV and M4V formats into unprotected WMV, MP4, AVI, XVID and 3GP video files that are compatible with Apple iPods, mobile phones and Playstation Portable.

  • Video converter for WMV, M4V, AVI, XVID, DIVX, 3ivx, 3GP, 3G2, MPEG, MPG, MOV, RM, FLV, ASV, DV, H.261, H.263 and H.264 files

Of course the classic version of Tunebite is also still available. More information and a free trial version can be downloaded on the Tunebite website.
