PS 2 Backups

Copy Protection Discuss, PS 2 Backups at Software forum; can anyone help me with a guide to backing up/copying my PS 2 games i'm a complete beginner i'm afraid but a 8 year old son tends to be slightly destructive with CD's if you see what i mean !!!
