And what writer is in the notebook?

[Btw, one post is enough. I've deleted your other two.]

OK, you have a 0 sheep efm writer which doesn't help. Try using safedisc 2/3 datatype settings to copy with alcohol and make sure that you enable Ignore media type in alcohol's emulation options before trying to play from the back-up copy.

If that doesn't work you'll need some form of emulation. Try either blindwrite with autoplay (blindwrite or autoplay filter must be installed for copy to work) or clonecd (clonecd must be installed and hide cdr media activated for copy to work).

I have checked the second disk with ClonyXXL and it reported SafeDisk 2.9. I passed the protection to Alcoholer which initiated Alcohol 120% in order to copy the game (using as image reader and writer PLEXTOR PX-W4824A). NOP. My Pioneer DVD-117 refuses to read it. Any ideas? PLEASE

If the burnt disc can't be read at all as opposed to failing the copy protection check it's a bad burn. Try writing at lower speed and/or using better quality media.

I suppose I am not familiar with the technical terms used yet. I have used Verbatim Super Azo 48x CD-R which are quite OK considering quality and wrote with 4x speed. So, yes, the CD-R are readable but the protection check cannot bypassed. I do not like using cracks, emulations, and that sort of tricks so ... is it possible to copy this game with me writer, or not? (actually is it true that some writters are incapable of copying certain titles?)

Your writer is a 1 sheep efm model and if you can't get a working copy with alcohol using safedisc 2/3 settings you'll probably need to use some form of emulation.

Try blindwrite with autoplay (blindwrite or stand-alone autoplay filter must be installed for copy to work) or clonecd (clonecd must be installed with hide cdr media enabled for copy to work).
