Farcry Issues

I just installed Farcry, and the actual disc1 that it came with, won't play it. Everytime it boots up, i tells me that it can't find the correct CD-Rom, please insert it and try again.

Any suggestions?

Is this a backup? If so, more details please. If not, try and disable any emulation running.

Does this happen from a backup, or the original disc?
Are you playing from a burner cd-rw drive?
Is DMA enabled?
What O/S?
Are drivers up to date?

Please tell us more info and more abotu yoru setup, brand & model of optical drive will help too.

Hey, I'm running my Farcry cd on a burner cd-rw drive.. and i'm having the same problem.. any solutions?

PS: i've already tried running a no-cd crack.. but another problem rises:

Crysystem.dll loading failed..
