    hi!

    i'm very new to the topic of copying protected cds.

    i have a cd (espanol sprachkurs 1) which i can copy almost entirely to my hd, except two files (explorer doesn't respond anymore when i try to copy them). i searched the cd for copy-protections with ARay and CloneyXXL, but they didn't find one. so i tried to make an image with alcohol 120% which gave me tons of errors, but the image seems to work when i mount it. also from the mounted image i can not copy that two files.

    my questions now are:
    is the copy-protection now in the image too?
    if so, can i get it out of there somehow?
    or is there any other way to get those two files off of the cd and onto my hd?

    hope you can help me!

    * Yes
    * Yes, but it might no longer work then if the errors were part of the copy protection.
    * Not easily.

    What are those 2 files' names ? Are they "Laserlok.*" or "*.ocd" ?

    there are three files in the directory SYSTEM: IOFILE.X64, MOV_IO.X64 and SOUND.X64, each of them exactly 5,000 Bytes. i could copy SOUND.X64 right from the start. somehow i managed just that moment to copy IOFILE.X64 - don't know how exactly. but there is still a problem to copy MOV_IO.X64.
    btw, i just noticed that when i try to copy that file from the mounted image, there is an error message: data error (crc-check), which didn't show up when trying to copy directly from cd.

    I am having the same problem too. IOFILE.X64, MOV_IO.X64 and SOUND.X64 all 5000 Bytes. The CD is Magix - Audio Cleaning Lab 2005 Deluxe. Will not even create an ISO image file!

    Any help is appreciated.
