Copy Protection on Coldplay's X&Y (US Release)
| Copy Protection Discuss, Copy Protection on Coldplay's X&Y (US Release) at Software forum; I have purchased the US release of Coldplay's X&Y (Capitol Records) and it is not recognized on my PC. Not recognized by Windows XP, Nero , iTunes, CDex, Window Media Player, etc. I have CD Autorun disabled. I am concerned that this is the "viral driver" type of copy protection. |
| I have purchased the US release of Coldplay's X&Y (Capitol Records) and it is not recognized on my PC. Not recognized by Windows XP, Nero, iTunes, CDex, Window Media Player, etc. I have CD Autorun disabled. I am concerned that this is the "viral driver" type of copy protection. Can anyone tell me what technology is behind the copy protection on X&Y? If a rogue driver or service is involved, how do I track it down and remove it? This CD does play OK on my hi-fi audio component CD player. Thanks, Phloyd |
