| Hi everybody, I've just bought a new Cambridge iBT software. I've made a copy of it and once I installed it a message appeared stating that the the CD is not authenticated. and whenever I want to use the program i have to insert the original CD. I wan to make a copy of the cd and install it a full installation. My pc is running under windows XO SP2. By the way CD is protected with Securom protection. I used Clony XXL to figure out that and I used clony CD to make a copy but I failed. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. | Welcome yboubker, please scan the installation directory of your camebridge software using protection id as clony xxl is out of date. How this can be done is described here here and post your result in this thread. |

| Download alcohol 52% which is free follow this tutorial until step 15 (the rest of the guide is for burning the disc which is not possible with alcohol 52%). Create a virtual drive and mount your new image. Now you can put your cd in a safe place and use your backup. |

It worked just fine. But the thing is I still can't make a copy of the original CD. I tried with Alcohol burning Image, However, when I use the Copied cd I got a message " The CD isn't authenticated". Thanks friends. |
