Ok here now the TransferRate Test with Nero CD/DVD Speed as mentioned above:
Next that follows is the CRC Error test with DVDinfoPro.... (i'll test the DVD with my LG 8162B its not the best reader but it reads disc with average quality perfectly)
edit: please set the edit msg time higher the 30mins time limit is simply annoying.

OK here now the Error checking with DVDINFOPRO seems like a good burn when my cheap GDR8162B can read it without errors...

TuffDisc 2.4x DVD+R D/L RITEKD01
This is the first TuffDisc I have had my hands on
Burnt on my Pioneer DVR-109 f/w 1.40 at the rated speed of 2.4x
For this test I created a 7.95gig copy-write free Title Set with a 500meg section in the middle of the title set so that I could easily locate the layer transition.
7.96gigs is the maximum size of DVD+R D/L media.
I burnt the title set with Roxio Disc Copier at 2.4x speed in about 45minutes

The spikes in this scan are typical of the scans I get with the 109 I prefer to use the BenQ Dw1620 for D/L scans but alas I no longer have one in my possesion. I expect a replacement Benq drive later this week and will substitute this scan with the BenQ scan.

These discs are also sold under the Datasafe, Datawrite & RiDisc brand names
Playback in my DK Digital DVD player is excellent with just the minor glitch at the layer transition point which I have come to expect with this player and D/L media

I bought a pack of the ritek DL discs. I must say that they SUCK!!! I will post a scan when I get home....But I can say that they don't play real well on my standalone dvd player...Often times ending up freezing at some times. And definitely a lot of legos. I burnt these on my Sony Dru-800A. I have yet to burn any on my pioneer 111 or my Liteon 165H6S, but I do still have about 18 discs left...So I will post a scan of the media burnt on those drives when I burn them. But like many have said before: STAY AWAY FROM RITEK...ESPECIALLY THE DL(and the 16x +R too). Come to think of it, stick with Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.(Again, I know everyone knows that on this forum)
