These are the Arita (Ritek made) discs that newegg.com occassionally has for .99 for 25 discs (AR). The discs themselves have a bit of dust and some minor scuffing on the edges, but so far, burning better than TY and Verbatim on my drive.

Here is a scan of the Office Depot house brand 16x media. I picked up a spindle of 50 for 6 bucks. Its a Ricoh JPNR03 burned at 8x. I have suprised with the unexpected results these cheapo discs have given me. I just hope in 6 months
my dvd players will still read them.

burned @ 12x (highest supported speed) with PX-760A FW. 1.04
AS = on (did create) PR = on (no slowdowns)
Plextools Professional write TRT.

Burst scan using PTP 2.35.
Pretty disappointing result for something called 'Maxell'

(even more disappointing that PR did not interfere

)
