xbox 360 games

I'm not sure if it's possible to make a working backup of the 360 games, but I thought some one here might know. I understand they use dual layer dvds. Regrettably I have no idea what kind of protection is used. Will this be like backing up the PS2 games (mod chip needed)?

But I'll take a stab.

1. I don't know what kind of format they use, but if it's anything like the original XBox, count on the disc being scrambled or written backwards. Perhaps even some more devious hardware encryption. I don't know, because I haven't gone and checked any XBox forums yet.

2. Definitely going to mostly be DVD-9's. They're harder to copy, for one thing. And for another the games are getting bigger.

3. You'll DEFINITELY need a mod chip.

But seriously go look it up in the XBOX forum or something.

....As my first post I will say.....

They have successfully copied a game in Europe.....The y have the Iso extractor and the tools up on the net.....BUT ...the bios, box, etc...has not been cracked as of yet and most likely will be after the summer....... The Xbox and PS2 both use dual layer discs right now....So most likely it will be the same....We already know they are using Blue Ray for PS3...So the 360 is hackable, so to speak...Just will take some time....Some of the games right now are over 4.7 gigs every once in a while.... With other words they have extracted the files of a game but they can't still burn them, so i doubt the game was succesfully copied.
