Thanks for any support and suggestions. |

| Howdy. I'm new here. Been a long time user (a proud :P) of CloneDVD and works flawlessly in XP for me. I've noticed that CloneDVD still doesn't support Vista as of today but let me still to you about my little problem. ![]() As I still use a lot of x86 utils and most of them works in Vista. The second I installed CloneDVD my DVD Drive disappeared (of course making it usable at all). In the devices; the dvdrom had an ! and under properties It said Code 39 error. A lot of posts on sites about this Code 39 error and one of the way the fix this error (for XP) is to delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters in the regedit. I tried that and restarted as it said. Vista would load anymore. Had to use my last known workable settings to boot back up. Tried a few more things but the no success. The second I uninstalled CloneDVD my drive came back. Thought it was funny as the problem wasn't even in CloneDVD itself.. but something during the install. Seems like a lot of people have had this problem in XP with CloneDVD and AnyDVD.. But this is my first time with problems.. and it had to be in Vista. Booting back onto XP on my other partition for now to get things done with these great apps... ![]() Delryk |

| I know that I have to wait for Vista 64... That wasn't my point. ![]() I was just explaining my problem in Vista that some had in XP (not clue if it was XP 64 though). Wether it's a 'bug' a simply CloneDVD not supporting 64 that's causing this because this is something that's caused during the installation... Now if that problem is simply the fact that the drivers aren't signed yet then it's all good ![]() I'll be waiting for a 64 release.. for now.. Happy Holidays and hope you party as much as I will! |
