Trouble with Wedding Crashers Uncorked Version

Hi all,

I just bought wedding crashers the uncorked version. I am using anydvd plus clonedvd2.

Here is my problem When trying to backup my copy of wedding crashers it won't play the uncorked version. Am i doing something wrong?

I made sure that the main movie was highlighted plus the extended version.

Burning at 4x with Verbatim.

Also how can i change the speed that clone dvd burns the dvd?

please always include the version numbers of the software you're using.

I backed this up fine last night using anydvd 5.7.3.1 and Clone DVD 2.8.5.1

Are you trying to back up movie only or the whole thing? the "uncorked" version is the first (ie longer) titleset. make sure you have the correct titlesets selected.

I removed previews, credits, and theatrical cut and kept the "uncorked" version and any extras while preserving menus, and my copy plays fine.

also, to change burning speed there is a drop down box on the very last page before you begin to burn. just select a different speed from the box. (see attachment)

I am using the current versions of both programs. When looking to keep menus before i burn the dvd. What do i look for? I don't see the main menu of the movie. It just plays.

i'm going to assume you mean anydvd 5.7.3.1 and clonedvd 2.8.5.1, but in the future always post version NUMBERS. anydvd updates are so frequent that it's very easy to miss one sometimes.

when you play the disc in your standalone and press "menu" does a menu come up? in that case you've backed it up with menus.

in clonedvd, to be sure you've included menus check that the checkbox for "preserve menus" is checked on the very first screen:

if your movie is just playing then it's probably playing the theatrical cut. when you hit play from the main menu of the movie it takes you to a secondary menu asking if you want "uncorked" or "theatrical"

your lack of a menu might be the problem in this case.

if you don't want menus and want to avoid this in the future, you can set what titleset you want to play first in clonedvd. go into the help file and read concerning "Firstplay"
