| Howdy All, I haven't been able to get Clone DVD Mobile to play video on my computer or on my Mobile Smartphone. I tried downloading the new Beta version and several movies. It is only playing the audio (like a song) on my Windows player. (I have also tried downloading as Divx and as an avi file.) Is anyone else having this problem? I couldn't find any threads addressing this issue. I'm sure that I'm going something small wrong. Thanks for your help in advance. -RW (frustrated) |

| Follow up: My Window's player keeps telling me "Down Load Codex Error." It then begins to only play the audio of the movie. |
| Windows Media Player plays a limited amount of video types (codecs) out of the box. Obviously you are trying to play one that it doesn't have a codec for. I would suggest having Clone DVD Mobile encode to a different type of codec and see if your Media Player can read those. As a test, you might want to go to divx.com and download their free codec pack and then have Clone DVD Mobile encode to DivX and try playing it on your PC. The bottom line, however, is that you will need to find what codecs are available for Windows Mobile. And then have Clone DVD Mobile encode for that codec. |
