Clone DVD mobile update big problem

so i bought Clone DVD mobile (no idea what verision sorry will update if i can)
on new years eve to get it cheaper...yes im that lazy/tight

so it was working ok then the dumb sheep popped up saying a new version blah blah so i downloaded it then as i try to convert films it looks ok during snapshots etc but the end file has randomized video where you can see blocks of stuff after the first frame the sound is ok throguhout the film and i will update soon as i can put a screenshot on the net for you to see

It has to be the update as it converted 3 film before the update perfectly and this film i tried but i had the problem is part of a box set with 2 films that worked before it.

im not that good at computers but i pick up on things fast so treat me like a newbie just for now

im converting to the archos gmini 500 format just so you know and i haven't tried a different format yet but i will update if i do

ok i tried MP4 (apple ipod) and the final file worked fine but my Archos cannot take MP4 files i tried a different output file type so it can still work (AVI) but that was messed up aswell.

Hi sharpy69,

Welcome to the forum and Happy New Year. First you should contact Slysoft support and supply them with any info/questions as to your problem. Then try reverting back to the original file you downloaded that you stated was working ok. To revert I would suggest uninstalling the current version rebooting and re-installing the previous version.

yeah i reinstalled the older version which was 1.1.3.0 and it worked ok with the same input files

the version that i updated to with the problem was 1.1.4.0

i not bothered because the old version compared to the newer one has extra bug fixes etc that i won't need

Sharpy, could you add some details like exactly what films you converted (title and region code) and any other useful information (settings other than default used in CloneDVD mobile).

What player showed the messed up video? Only your Archos or some software player? Which player?

I have done several tests with the Archos profile(s) and havent seen any problem so far with v1.1.4.0, so I need a little extra info. Thanks.

ok so the DVD region is 2 (europe/britain)
The video is messed up on the archos and real media player, creative media source and windows media player 10
The DVD is Thunderbirds puppet seris box set kinda thing
However i used DVD shink to rip the dvd but no problem has ever occured ever+

I tried to post this once in great detail but it managed to close itself because of a precaution crap.

so the end file it plays sound ok

the very 1st second of play in the final file (avi) it looks ok but after that it splits itself (the picture) into blocks approx. 15 by 10 and these blocks look like some kind of trippy look you kinda get from a TV thats not tuned in (but with lots of colours)
