Please help with the following error message:

First what version are you using of CloneDVDMobile and also did you first see if the file play properly before trying to converting it???

Using latest version:1.6.1.0
DVD plays fine.
I was able to convert the movie directly using AVS Video converter v6 with no problem. Just trying to get Clone DVD Mobile to work.

Just looking at what your error message was is a avi file not a DVD media. I think you need to tell us is it a avi file or DVD media?

The input file is a DVD. I select it and Clone DVD Mobile finds it fine, the file plays in the preview screen
The output file is supposed to be an avi file (but I cannot change this in the program anyway, I can only give the output file a name and path).
As soon as it starts the "creating video file", the error pops up.

I'm getting a very similar message trying to convert a DVD for my ipod. I never had this problem with the older versions, I even tried uninstalling it and redownloading it, but I had no such luck doing that, I still got errors. It says it cannot spawn the transcoder (5). Whatever that means.

Getting the same error with conversion from DVD or files on hard drive. Did not thave this problem with the previous version.
