| Hello, For more than 3 years, I have been using CloneDVD. I update my version periodically. I'm not a big DVD burner... just occasionnaly. At that time, I bought a 100 DVD-R package up to 8x. Just this week, I ran out of DVD and bought the same kind but all DVDs are listing up to 16x now. I tried copying a DVD on them and it doesn't work. Do I have to configure AnyDVD and/or CloneDVD in some way for the movie to burn on these new DVDs? Like I said, it had burn just fine with the 8x. If you can help me out, I would appreciate it. Thanks! |

| Hi, possibly your drive has no proper support for these discs. Could you please:

| Hi, I guess, this drive is too old to support newer media properly. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any firmware update on HP website. Quote:

Do you have any idea how to find the right one? |

I would try known-good stuff like Verbatim. If these fail also, then you may consider replacing the drive. Michael
