General Hardware Forum Discuss, What's your cpu temperature? at Hardware forum; I just noticed your 40'C ambient temp, is this the MB temp? If so, you need better case cooling.

Actually in this case is 6 fans but since they were installed at xoxide im not sure they're all set up right, i think i'll look at how they're set intake/outake

Athlon 2000+XP on an Antec 1080 SOHO full tower

CPU Temperature 39 C (full load after 3 hours of video editing)
Ambient Temp 32 C

You'll need to flash the BIOS to the latest version for correct temp reading. CoolerXP is a halt command utility which is already built into WinXP that cools down the processor to a certain degree, like 1 or 2C. I suggest you get your temp reading within BIOS or w/ MBM5.

Athlon XP 2200+ @ 1950

in winter:

CPU idle 40C
full load 45C

Summer (room temp >35)

CPU idle 49C
full load 55C

.. what concerns me is the mobo temp which gets as high as 47C. I need to keep the case open to keep it down to 39-40C. A7V333 no fan, just sink

After switching some fans around and making sure they're aimed right ambient temp is down to 35 C.
