Hi All,

I have a Sharp FS2518 laptop with Matshita UJDA740 DVD/CDRW and the CD drive is not working i.e. whatever I try to read CD/DVD nothing is coming up and even in the windows explorer I am able to see the drive but no contents are being displayed.

Any pointers as how to resolve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Disable any packet writing software you have.

Have you tried the search function? There must be 2000 threads about this problem.
