Question: Pioneer DVR-S606 External DVD

I have a Pioneer DVR-S606 External DVD external, it won't open. Can't get it to open to put a DVD in it, I tried putting a paper clip in the little pin hole to see if that would make it open and it had no effect at all, I've unplugged, everything restarted, plugged in restarted, updated software, reinstalled software, nothing is working. HELP, I need to make a DVD for a nursing home!!!!!

The old paperclip trick should have done it.
All I can suggest is fiddle with it a little more.Sometimes hitting that right spot is a little tricky.
