General Hardware Forum Discuss, Pioneer DVD-120s failing CRC's at Computer Hardware forum; My Pioneer DVD-120s seems to be producing CRC errors for no good reason (I've had it do it on a pressed DVD and now a written one). Having checked the discs in my DVD-105s and my SOHW-832s they both read fine. I'm using the 1.25 RPC1 firmware on an nforce2

My Pioneer DVD-120s seems to be producing CRC errors for no good reason (I've had it do it on a pressed DVD and now a written one). Having checked the discs in my DVD-105s and my SOHW-832s they both read fine.

I'm using the 1.25 RPC1 firmware on an nforce2 chipset (with standard IDE drivers).

Anyone else had these sorts of problems?

I'm currently assuming hardware failure. :/
