Pentium 4 processor normal operating temp?

I just put a Pentium 4 processor in my computer
2.8GHz/512Kb/400MHz fsb and it runs at 40-41 degrees Celsius about 105 Farenheit. Is this normal operating temperature? Yes I used thermal compound and I have no problems and I assume it is good but my 2.5 Celeron ran about 37-38 Celsius that's why I am asking.

The short answer is yes, that is well within normal.

Thanks guys I found the best metallic conductor stuff I could to put between the cpu & heatsink
