hi there, im new to this forum and have searched all overto find out why my LG GGC-H20L wont pick up my blank blu ray media, it picks up the movies but nothing else, im running windows 7 on 64bit and i have tried to update the firmware but keeps telling me that it cant locate the drive, pls help as this is driving me nuts, thanks

The GGC-H20L drive can read blu ray movies, but cannot write to blank blu ray media. There is a review of it here: http://www.cdrlabs.com/Reviews/lg-gg...d-dvd-rom.html
The LG GGW-H20L was the model of that time that could write to blu ray media.
Of course I may be misinterpreting your problem, and the drive is not reading BD-R or BD-RE disks that have already been burned. In that case, please tell us all the details you can, including type of disk, burning speed and program and which drive was used to burn them.
