When I am trying to copy the entirely content of a dvd game of EA games, like battle for middle earth or the godfather, my system crashes to a blue error screen in about two or three minutes, always in .zip files; these situation only with an modern EA game, I use a dvd burner LG 4163B with latest firmware 105.
It is connected at multiple word DMA mode 2 , with a 40 pin cable. Motherboard only support ata mode 5 for hard disks, 80 pin cable. The unit can burn succesfull all type of dvd´s and cd´s, and its capable of read original games like Commandos Strike forces and others.

Is the copy protection?
