My rom doesn't read cd's and dvd's

General Hardware Forum Discuss, My rom doesn't read cd's and dvd's at Hardware forum; I've just (2 moths ago) bought a new laptop (HP Pavilion dv6000), i didn't have a problem with tge DVD RW until yesterday... It first had a little bit of trouble with reading the cd's and dvd's and since today it can't read any more... It does make a sound,
