| LG CD-Writer doesn't see blank CDs! My CD writer (LG GCE-8160B)won't recognize my blank CDs. It will recognise and play any other type of CDs but when I insert a blank CD it acts just like there was no CD at all inside. I've tried many different types and brands of blank CDs but none will work. My OS is WinXP Pro. Everything has been working great for about 6 months and this problem occured very suddendly a week ago. I really don't know what happened. I would really appreciate some help or advice, Thanks in advance........ Pascal Villeneuve |

| If the laser is to strong it's possible that it goes right threw the cd so it won't be able to read from it. My DVD had the same thing! |
