I work at a CD/DVD replication facility and I am having a problem with one of our clients claiming that a DVD Video we replicated will not play (or is recognized) in their laptop computer. They claim that the master is regonized. It is a ThinkPad X31. They cannot tell me what drive they have in the ThinkPad. Our electrical and format tests show absolutely no errors at all. I am unable to recreate this problem on any computer or player in the building. Has anybody heard of any firmware issues that may cause this problem?

The IBM ThinkPad X31 doesn'y have a built in drive, so they will have to be using a external one or the one in it's dock, without knowing this you are unlikely to be able to help them.

Yeah, I tried to get more information but I am having to go through a third party to get to the client. I just thought maybe someone had heard of such a thing.

Then the problem is the drive, not the duplicate.
