Hello everyone

I'm planning on upgrading my laptop a little bit. Currently I have Intel Pentium M 740 1.73GHz socket 479 Processor in it and I feel like I need something more powerful. What is the biggest processor possible I can put inside this laptop?? *** I'm looking for something with 2.8Ghz+.

That depens on what the mainboard will support.

Thats all I could find about the motherboard. And BTW my mistake- the processor is M 750 1.86Ghz

The processor needs to be recognized by the notebook's BIOS and only HP will know this. If there was a faster model than yours in the same HP laptop range, you may have a chance. Otherwise it'll be hit-and-miss, I think.
