| Okay, guys I really need your help with this one. I'm helping my friend out on upgrading his DVD Burner because the one he had died. I'm helping him out for free because he doesn't have alot of money and it's always nice to return a favor because you never know when you will need one in life!  I'm having a hell of a time trying get the stock dead hp DVD-Burner out of the stock hp pavilion a000 case. How in the world can I remove the dead DVD-Burner from it? I've attached a picture of what the case looks like with the dead hp DVD-Burner still inside the hp pavilion a000 case. I'm lost at this point and can't find anyway to release the old dead hp DVD-Burner. Please help! Thank you!  |

| You need to remove the side panels & then the front panel which is probably held in by some form of sprung clip. |

| Okay, I was able to pull the front of the hp case off. It was very simple. It's just cliped in on the sides so all I had to do is unclip the holding spacers and wham bam done! Thanks now on with the upgrade!  |
