Connecting VGA to RCA -- Computer to Old TV

Ok, I'm trying to connect my computer (Dell DV051) to an older LXI Stereo Monitor T.V.; I want to do so from a single vga port on the computer to RCA hook up on the T.V. (the yellow white and red). If i buy a "VGA HDB15 1M and 2F Splitter" and connect one split to my computer monitor and the other to a "VGA Adapter to TV S-Video RCA Out Cable for PC Video" (and only connect the RCA wires to the TV and ignore the s-video because my t.v. doesnt have it) will it work?

If it does will it recognize two different output screens or simply display the same on both the tv and computer screen? Thanks in advance.
