Bios Setup Help
| General Hardware Forum Discuss, Bios Setup Help at Computer Hardware forum; On my Bios my LiteOn and my Sony510A the are setup DMA-2 and I got the option to Change it to DMA 3,4,5 but I don’t know nothing about this, what should I do ,if I change it to 3.4.5 I will be better? Thanks in advance |

| You could set it , but i'm pretty sure that both drives will stay at UDMA 2, they're not faster

| Thanks for you help Dam I trough than LiteOn 166S was faster, anyway so if will make no different I should leave the way they are now |
| as far as i know all lit-on drives are UDMA2 only optical drive that i know that operates in UDMA mode 5 is the Asus DVD E616. ok, u dont need the speed but the error correcting code wich is available on UDMA mode 5 is a nice extra
