por exemplo o novo software DVD MATE funciona 100%

ALCOHOL deixa de ter utilidade para mim..


Just tested new version with a USB2.0 enclosure and the drive (bus) disconnects from windows...
for example the new DVD MATE works like a charm at 100%

ALCOHOL just as no use for me...

It's not an easy task to add full EFM support for Alcohol 50% burners

well I just downloaded the newest ver and still no go to play the game cod in the my toshiba dvd reader.

I used the same image I made with my lite-on w/ ver .1005 and burned with my lite-on w/ safe disk 2/3 option w/ unchecking bypass efm error. burned at 12x. still will not play Call of duty in my toshiba dvd reader.

I think you need the right combination of both reader and burner for SafeDisc 3.

well... it should... although I don't know yet... I had only tested on last beta before retail version and there it didn't seem to work for me ... I posted this as bug then.... because it should have worked... but I didn't yet test on Retail version.

From my understanding,

In order to READ a Safedisc 3.x or higher with the previous of Alcohol (i.e 1.4.7.1005) the settings should had been Safedisc 2 with read sub channel enabled.

Right now, with Alcohol 1.4.8.2222, and selecting the Safedisc 2/3 READ profile, the read sub channel option still unselected by default..

Is that mean that option depends on which sub version of Safedisc 3 is used ?

Should it be turned on all the time with Safedisc 3.x, and never with Safedisc 2.x ?

In previous versions, subs were required for a working image, not required for burning. This is not the case now in 1.4.8.1222

SafeDisc profile is for SD killer burners (e.g. ASUS, LITEON, LG GCE model)

SafeDisc 2 profile adds the Bypass EFM Error on the burn for non-killer burners

tested now on SD3.15 patterns... well it seems to work for them.

Question :

A) What should be the lowest number of sheeps for a non-killer burner in order to READ > SD2.9x ?

B) What should the the lowest number of sheeps for a non-killer
burner in order to WRITE > SD2.9x and using the Bypass EFM Error from Alcohol 120% v1.4.8.2222 ?

I was able to do the weak sectors tests with theses two drives :

=> I have tested them with sd2old.dat, sd251.dat, sd290.dat, bad.dat

(I didnt have the SD310.dat or SD315.dat)

Does it work well with 1SHEEP burners?

Well...
I can't say it exactly... because with v5.0.5 before I re-installed Windows gave me with EWS everything completely right... but now BW v5.0.5 is worse than new Alcohol version... but Alcohol still doesn't give me everything right...

Which tool are you using to test the sd310 or sd315 ?

SD3.15 had then a couple of new weak patterns... and here I have the weak patterns only from a friend.

Then sd3.10 only introducing some new blacklisting checks ?

I noticed that (Safedisc 3.10.020) is looking after Clone CD Virtual Drive installation. And wont boot original game if the elby virtual driver is installed.

SD3.10 has only new blacklist things and I heard that they made it harder to crack...

But SD3.15 had then new sectors too.
