Using CloneDVD to copy a homemade DVD_VR

My dad recently purchased a liteon home dvd recorder. We used it to transfer a movie off of his DV Camera onto a dvd disc. Now. We would like to make copies of that disc without having to run the dvd all the way through each time on his Camera. I proposed using his computer. I had used Clonecd in the past and figured there should be a CloneDVD by now. Low and behold. I downloaded it...the latest version, installed, tried to make an exact copy...and this is what I got. Ohh, by the way it's an HP DVD writer DVD300i...it's bundled software wasn't able to record the DVD to his Hard drive either...take a look.....

Now, I'm not sure what's going on. It shouldn't have Copy Protection on it, but if it did, I installed AnyDVD...same result. On both Hp's software and CloneDVD, it get's right near the end, and poops out. The disc is crystal clear, not a spec of dust. And reads fine in a dvd player. Please help.

P.S.-Yer program's great, very clean and straight forward.

I am using Hewlett Packard DVD+R's.

Something I just noticed is that when I get to chapter 11, the last chapter on the disc, there is a hickup, but on our RCA progressive scan, it just moves past that and finishes the movie. Perhaps this is what's happening? If so, why can't it just record past the hickup, just as the DVD player play's past it?
