what did you use to decrypt? just dvd shrink?

do the files you've ripped play correctly from the hard drive?

what is the brand, type (+/-), rated speed, and media ID of the blank disc you're trying to burn to? (media id can be found on the disc info tab of nero cd-dvd speed)

The problem was Nero. I installed the latest update over the weekend and since then I have had problems. I have reinstalled the previous version 6.6.0.18 and everything is fine now.
It would appear that the latest version may be buggy or have deliberate problems when shrink uses burn engine.

the problem isn't nero, it's shrink...

shrink is no longer updated so naturally it's not very accomodating when it comes to newer burning engines...

Shrink worked just fine for me with The Island.

Of course, you're getting ASPI errors, why you even have ASPI installed is beyond me...
