Microsoft and Google awarded as most ethical IT companies

Just like last year both Microsoft and Google have been awarded as most ethical IT companies. The title was awarded by the Ethisphere Institute, an independent research center that promotes "best practices" in business ethics. According to the institute the elected companies not only claim they are ethically engaged, but they also act that way.

According to the Ethisphere Institute the companies apply their values in everything they do, from any new employee to each partner with whom they cooperate. This way long term value is created for customers, suppliers and other "stakeholders".  In addition to Google and Microsoft also, Adobe, Symantec, and Teradata were crowned most ethical software companies in 2015, all American companies.

When it comes to hardware, Dell, Hitachi and TE Connectivity were awarded for the way they work. Microsoft has won the title five years in a row. "Trust is essential to the success of any business. At Microsoft, we work hard to win this and maintain confidence through a shared commitment to an ethical and transparent process," said Microsoft's Lori Forte Harnick.
