Do you have a d-sub vga output on the laptop? And does the video adapter in the laptop support tv-out? If the answer is yes to both of these questions, you can use this cable to connect your laptop to the tv. http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

Note that it is s-video or composite, not component.
