The Hunger Games (2012) dvd & english versions
had success using magic DVD ripper v7.0.0 and magic DVD copy v.7.1.0 may the results be with you

AnyDVD HD 7.0.7.0 works for the US blu ray version.

Ideal DVD Copy 4.1.2. does several versions of the DVD as well.

Apparently the protections are different for different regions and there are several versions out there.
