Next time please lie about WHY you want to rip the subs... anyway, I like to use SubRip to rip DVD subtitles for use with avis.

thanks yuo so much.

actually the reason i gave above was a COMPLETE LIE anyway, i would never dream of doing such a heineous thing......its just that on a lot of these forums yuo have to make out like yuo do, just to get a reply!!!!

any way, i am going to go an buy that dvd i had in mind now, and using the software above (which, of course i shall purchase) i will now be able to make a hard copy of the subtitles for my 107 year old Norwegian granny, bless her....not to mention her deaf but very slow reading sons and granddaughters.

this will mean that the entire Norse side of the family can enjoy the film without constantly asking us lot to pause the films this christmas..

she will be so happy that yuo have helped our whole family in this way

:_ )

It warms my heart to meet such a conscientious and law abiding person. Please give my regards to your granny, and may her deaf and slow-reading progeny find ways to overcome their physical disadvantages.
