DVD Shrink + Nero burn error
| Movie copy software Discuss, DVD Shrink + Nero burn error at Software forum; Whenever I copy Gankutsuou, I use DVD Decrypter with the plugin for ARccOS to copy it, but when I'm copying it, the first thing I notice is that instead of just coming up with box to let me abort, retry, etc, it just inserts dummy sectors. | Whenever I copy Gankutsuou, I use DVD Decrypter with the plugin for ARccOS to copy it, but when I'm copying it, the first thing I notice is that instead of just coming up with box to let me abort, retry, etc, it just inserts dummy sectors. Secondly, after getting done with PgcEdit, I go into DVD Shrink and encode and analyze my DVD. It does all of this fine. But, when it gets to the burn part, this is what comes up: Quote:

| Nero has detected a missing file. I guess it's registered in the IFO but doesn't actually exist. What might work is using IFOEdit to recreate the IFO & BUP files, replacing what's currently in the same folder as the VOBs. |

| why don't you just try DVDfab decrypter to rip the latest movies!!! It has always worked with me.

I figure if something works, why update it, unless I have to. TimC: thanks. I might try that. I like to know more than one way to get around things, so, that may be useful. Just like the PLS files. Even though it didn't work on this one, at least now I know how to make them. @bichonn: because I need a free option, mainly. Secondly, I've been using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink for over a year now, and they've served me well. |

| As in, go to DVDDecrypter, and copy just that file? Well, here's the thing, that file is already there, so copying it over really wouldn't do much good. It's just not detecting it as there. =/ |
| Did you really follow the 3-step wizard in PgcEdit to rip? Seems like the clean up is not complete if you say the file is already there. How big is the file anyway? As an alternative, you can try DVDFab Decrypter to rip again. If you have problem with Nero, use Imgburn to burn after Shrink created the iso. |
