you'd need capture card for sure

go grab a cheap tv card, connect your vcr to it & capture your movies using powervcr or windvr & burn it on nero. that'll do just fine

You will have to give more information, we're not mind readers.
What make & model is your TV card and what does the manual say about svhs input?
If you haven’t a manual what does the manufacturer's site say?

depends on what type of vcr you got, but usually older vcr only have analogue output like s-video and RCA (composite).

check your vcr, whether it has these kind of output jacks or not (they usually placed on the back of the vcr)
