| CCE Basic $58 CCE SP $2000 SP Trial is a trial version of the SP version. Basic is limited to 2 passes. SP is many passes possible. There is not much difference otherwise between the two. |

| If I'm not mistaken, audio is left untouched. As for the video, I suppose the only difference is what you would gain with the extra passes SP allows you to do. In other words If you use SP and set it to 2 passes, it should be the same as running Basic.

| That's right. The only compressor that addresses both video and audio is RatDVD, but it won't produce a playable DVD. It's just for storage and "distribution" and quality is a bit compromised.
