Just curious, has anyone tried this program? Im realtivly new to this forum and the while DVD Burn thing. I see that CloneDVD is one of the prefered programs on this site! I have been doing a little searching and come across 1-click DVD Copy and the reviews are top rated--I D/L the trail version (3 free burns) and it seems to do really well--I had to D/L DVD43free for the CSS decryptor. Anyway I need to purchase one of these and Im just curious of your input between the 2? Here is a link to it>>>1-Click

Use the program that works best with your system. Ease of use is also important. I value support. And I see excellent support with CloneDVD. When the new Sony encryption came out last month, the software was updated within a few days. I don't put too much faith in those reviews. Video is a very subjective thing. The fact that there are so many "personal favorites" tells you that all modern shrink programs are capable of producing very high quality backups, as long as you keep the compression level to less than 30%. As you gain more experience, I would steer you to Shrink or Nero Recode. With these programs, you can remove more unwanted materials at the start and end of the film, to further reduce the compression level of the main movie. Recode is also faster than CloneDVD and Shrink using my 600 MHz PIII. I tested each program in a clean W2K SP1 partition to reduce the possibility of software conflict. I see a lot of BS claims with 1 Click. Haven't tested this product but I doubt that it is any better than CloneDVD, Shrink, Recode, DVD2One, and DVDCopy 3. If you're short of $, then use the LATEST DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to backup your DVD. These programs are FREE. They just take a little longer to go from A to B.
I've had nothing but problems with my 1 click dvd. IF i can get sound, it'll be in mono and their tech support has been a joke thus far. I have sent them my "Log" file as they had requested and now, 2 weeks later and 4-5 e mail follow ups, i have yet to get a response back from these clowns. Does anyone know a solution to the sound problem in which i am having> The DTS is NOT selcted, tried 3 different types of blank disks and still no luck. Ideas??
Ya, and I'm not being a wise guy, but learn a lesson from your experiences. Then by the CloneDVD and AnyDVD combo pack. http://www.slysoft.com/en/purchase.html Best regards, Whisperer
