This has happened sometimes on my BTC1008IM.. this might help solve the problem.. First off I am running Windows XP.. I have done this in both SP1 and SP2.. |

This has happened sometimes on my BTC1008IM.. this might help solve the problem..
First off I am running Windows XP.. I have done this in both SP1 and SP2..
If everything u do still does not enable DMA despite having chosen "DMA if Available" what I do is uninstall the entire Secondary IDE Channel (assuming your drives are installed here)
After this I restart Windows reinstalls this automatically and usually sets my devices for DMA..
try it if you've tried everything..
