Early adaptors are known of their wish to buy everything that's news. With paying the highest price and buying a product that's not always fully tested, they take a risk. Now one early adaptor sued Samsung because of the compatibility issues with its BDP-1200 and certain Blu-ray discs.
Connecticut resident Bob McGovern sued the company 'on behalf of thousands, and perhaps tens of thousands' who've purchased Samsung's BDP-1200. Later all these people found out that the player had problems to play a few Blu-ray discs, something that you won't expect from a Blu-ray player.
The suit says that Samsung was fully aware about the issues that were stated earlier. If this is true, and maybe later proved, this will mean a big fine for Samsung and a big win for Bob and all the other early adaptors.
